Charging for Rape Kits? Say it ain’t so, Sarah!
Wow.
According to recent reports, under Sarah Palin’s leadership as mayor of Wasilla, AK, rape victims were charged for their own rape kits. These kits are used to collect evidence for sexual assault cases and can cost $300-$1200. As if rape isn’t already horrible enough, this policy adds insult to injury.
